Bangladesh

I have created a slide about Bangladesh. I have learnt more about he commonwealth country. I learnt that the language they usually speak is Bengali. The students from Bangladesh starts school at the age of 6 to 10 years old. When I wanted to learn more I found out the capital city of Bangladesh and it is Dhaka, but Dhaka is a big city full of millions of people sightseeing.

Math problem

I have created a drawings about building blocks math problem. I learnt that three squared is multiplied three times and two squared is multiplied two times to find the answer. We solved this problem to find out how many blocks can fit in a box. 

google gaming search

This google game has been going on for probably years. These intelligent students created this game on google chrome.The game site is called google doodle. This game has celebrated for 50 years of kids coding which means these google games is so old.

Duffy

Today we had been given our Duffy books  to read. I got two books that were called "Goose bumps" and "Spirit animals" I know I am going to love reading these books in my spare time. The thing that I like about these books is that they have interesting words and it is chapter books. I like books that have chapters and interesting words. If you read you will succeed in life. 

The tunnel

                             

As the morning sun rose through the clear sky, birds chirp peacefully making the world sound sweet.

As more and more birds made such loud noises it echoed through the hollow tunnel repeatedly.

Something caught his eye, “No trespassing or you will regret passing!” Trees had covered the tunnel making

sure nothing had passed through the territory. The clouds gathered

together turning darker and rumbling through the dusky sky. The only choice to make is either to stay
under the trees or go into the tunnel.
It was pitch black, but when he took a break,

he spotted a little bit of light shining through a crack in the tunnel.  

Using a bit of his weight to push against the boulders, he tried to open it up further.

Everything changed. “This is the most beautiful place!” Cameron mumbled to himself.

Today we are writing a story about "the tunnel." I created a document about the tunnel because it was our topic for today. I have learnt about where to add apostrophes when I am writing. Now I know where to add the punctuation and all those other writing things while I am writing. 

Professor Stephen Hawking

Sadly Professor Stephen Hawking passed away last week. I have created this DLO to show who he was and why he was famous. In this task we focused on using our own words and attributing images of Professor Stephen Hawking. I found Stephen Hawking very interesting to write about. He was a man who had courage to think and learn. He used a computer to communicate with other people. He used a bit of his muscle in his cheek twitching it to talk.

Description

The magic Library

A little girl named Scarlet really loved to read. She was a passionate little girl.
She just wanted to read. One time she had went to a library. Scarlet was very nervous.
The librarian had greeted her in a polite way making her feel welcomed.
This library was known to be called the magic library.
She had chosen a book called Dr Seuss. It was a story that was made up.
Scarlet thought that it was very interesting to read a nonfiction book.
She’d always issue books because there were books like comic books and chapter books.
Scarlet liked reading most of the chapter books because it had a lot of difficult words
to read. Even though it was hard she kept reading.

Today we were learning to do a character description. Our topic was about a girl who
loved to read. I have described her feelings, actions, and what she looks like. I really
liked how you had to use your imagination to write the story. It was interesting to find
out what you could use while you are writing. I liked using words that gave hints about
story because it shows that you are giving information about the story and where it is
held at.

Tense

Today we are learning about tense. We were filling in the missing boxes and it had past tense, present tense, and future tense. We were learning about it because these are the most important words include to your writing.

Silver Care Award - Attitude

I have created a drawing about Mike Krzyzewski. He was a coach who had never let his team down once. Other students looked up to him . His words did inspire me but it also inspired everyone else who knows Mike Krzyzewski. His difficulty was when his Brother Bill Krzyzewski died and Mike struggled to keep the team winning the games.

Lost Yet Found

He decides to go into the forest, where he would take some good photos of the nature. As a teenage boy he likes to hike by himself in the forest. Dark clouds rumble through the sky while raindrops fall to the ground. He wasn’t scared at all. He had too much on his mind, he looked at his map and saw he was nowhere near to his hometown.

For this weeks work we made a document about a character description. I had made about a boy that is lost in the forest trying to find his way back to his hometown. I made this document about it because it was our learning intention for today.

Magic

Magic

“Top of the morning”, this happy man said. He was a man who had courage and confidence in himself. He handed out cards for a magic trick. He gave other people pamphlets to people because the pamphlet had something on it.

On the day that the show was going to start. He was a bit nervous but he had no clue that his family was there to support him. Everyone backstage were ready to see what talent he has. A few minutes later he got more confident to go on stage in front of everyone and show off his magic skills. Although he was nervous he saw his family sitting on the seats happy and excited. The first thing that came to mind was, “Is this going to work?’’

As he shows off his talent he made a table float in the air. After the show finished he thanked the audience and also his family who came to support him. The pamphlet said, “What is your magic trick?”

I have created a document about magic. Our learning intention was to have a compound sentence, complex sentence and a simple sentence. I have learnt about how to write a story with the things I listed.

Agent Of Change

Before I became a agent of change. I have created a drawing about my agent of change. I have thought about achieving my goals because everything I have learnt has changed me. The things that I have achieved has been completed because my attitude and my behaviour towards everyone has changed. The agent of change has really challenged me. To help you set goals we looked at how we could be in our own 2018 learning journey.
